Race Cars: SCCA BF Goodrich Super Tour Posted on January 27, 2013 by streetculture805 1 So, this weekend I went to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA for my first race of the 2013 season. Running in the GT-3 class was a challenge seeing that I usually run in the ITA class in SCCA. It rained the first day during qualifying and I made a bad choice in tires during the race. Running full rain tires on the dry track; the tires overheated and I was sliding everywhere. Overall that day I took a 6th place and a 5th place on Sunday, running ful race slicks. FYI, I race an orange Mazda RX7 with Mariah Motorsports livery on it, along with a couple of good friends/teammates also in Mazdas.
